Some of my innovative ideas stem from my co-workers, and managers and through professional devlopment books. I am always open to observing and listening to how other people conduct their work and what their workflow entails. Sometimes this can lead to new ideas that increase productivity, better relationships and increase in revenue. I thoroughly enjoy picking other managers’ minds to get their opinion and views on best practices and expectations that way I have a starting point to identify any additional problems and address them accordingly through other non-traditional ways. Lastly, I like to do self-observations and reflections to see if there are any other areas that I can personally work on that will streamline my workflow. And of course, when reading, it can spark a new idea for me to try and further think on ways to implement it in my line of work and with others.
